LifeSize resets the bar for Telepresence
LifeSize Communications which primarily deals in high definition video communications announced the launch of LifeSize220 Series products on Monday.
With this launch the company introduced an embedded Full HD multipoint control unit supporting up to 8 sites, a HD video system with embedded Full HD MCU for under $12,000 and a Full HD video communications system for under $7,000. With Full HD across the 220 series, tele-presence has become more flexible ensuring accessibility to a company environment.
The 220 series support 1080p30 video for the highest resolution, as well as 720p 60 video for ultimate motion handling. Dual display support, integrated content sharing and LifeSize adaptive motion control are standard features on 220 series products. These help distributed teams to collaborate in real time effectively.
